GOOD ADVICEBe deadly serious about Self Realisation! as we well know,

"The direct path of the housholder is the way of a true hero",

So spake the mighty Ramakrishna Parahamsa,

Echoed by the Great Jagad-Guru Sage Ramana.

Strive like a drowning man struggling and coming up for air,

That's the way to escape from samsara's harsh prison lair.

Toying and trifling with sacred truth is a snare and delusion,

If we wish to be freed from Mother Maya's hypnotic illusion.



Pilgrim felt depressed, weeping, anguished and full of grief,

He was making no progress, such was his firmly held belief.

"Forget about making progress" said his wise enlightened sage,

"That 's real progress, and true wisdom for this kali yuga age"!

The sadhak obeyed his inner master's strong admonition,

And gracefully and gradually he was freed from perdition.
