( Nangsa ) How To Help
Join our One-To-One Sponsorship:

Help support a little lama by sponsoring him for one year, $30.00 each month. Just one dollar can feed him for one day. We need as many people to participate as possible because we need to ensure the long term future and well-being of these children. We wish to share with you the growth and progress of the lama you sponsor. We welcome and encourage communication between you and the little lama you sponsor. We will happily deliver any messages. To participate, please make a commitment to sponsor a lama for one year. You can make this payment all at once, or in increments. Payments may be issued by check, or online via PayPal.

If you wish to make payments in increments, we suggest making donations of:

$30.00 each month for one year (for a total of $360.00) OR
$180.00 twice in one year (for a total of $360.00)
Otherwise, please make one donation of $360.00 for the complete one year sponsorship. Please click on the link below to donate via PayPal. Or if you would rather issue a check, please fill out this form (PDF) and mail in with your check. Checks should be made payable to "Dorje Ling Buddhist Center" and sent to:

Dorje Ling Buddhist Center
98 Gold Street, Brooklyn, New York 11201

*All amounts are listed in US Dollars.

Donate to our Medical Fund:

There is no budget for health and medical supplies. Until recently, health problems have been dealt with on an individual basis. A general widespread problem among the little lamas is a skin problem on their arms and legs, and scalp. This is probably due to the poor living conditions in which they grew up, in their home towns. Medication to treat these problems is needed. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated.

Volunteer:

We are seeking volunteers to teach Chinese or English at Jonang Tibetan Buddhist Monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Teach English in Kathmandu on a volunteer basis at Jonang Monastery. Free meals at the monastery. This is a good opportunity to learn the Tibetan Language, if desired. Students and scholars who wish to experience some culture exchange in Nepal are suitable for this position. For more information please contact the email help@littlelama.org.

If you are a female and would like to help the little lamas, feel free to contact us too at help@littlelama.org.
