Support in many ways for Tibet: When in Dharamsala/McLeod Ganj, buy from Tibetan shops as much as possible. Also, support places such as the Tibetan Handicraft Co-Operative Society Ltd: in the midst of town,Jogibara Road... they have a shop and a small factory where carpets (handknotted woollen) and artworks are being made by Tibetan women. You can buy a wonderful carpet, made there and then, and if this is too heavy to take by plane: DHL or Fedex delivers to you.
