Happening now: “Cycle Rally for Tibet”

We the Tibetan Students’ Association of Baroda, which wholly comprises college going students of Maharaja Sayajirao university of Baroda, is planning to organize bicycle rally in Gujarat. The “Cycle rally for Tibet” will be start by 27th Oct 2011 from Baroda and will be conclude at same spot on 3rd Nov 2011. This rally would be covering four major cities of State; like Anand, kheda, Ahmedabad and Vadodara and many small towns along the way which amounted to more than 500 km.
Objective:
“Cycle rally for Tibet” is a campaign to promote the issue of Tibet among the Indians in this state. The main objective of this campaign is to raise the voice against the human right violation taking place in Tibet, particularly worsening of condition which resulted in self immolation of ten Tibetan (including two women) inside Tibet from March 2011 till date. China’s merciless and violent crackdown in Tibet is intensifying Tibetan grievances and exacerbating the resentment and desperation felt across Tibet. We fear that this might continue unless the UN intervention or nation across the world did not pressure the Chinese government to stop human right violation in Tibet. Besides this we are emphasizing on three other objectives which are:
