While meeting with Mr. Raj Kumar, The Delhi regional officer of Censor Board, He clearly remarked full support for the Tibetan Cause but also accepted his helpless consolation, being the Move ROCKSTAR registered at the Mumbai office. He told us, he cant take any action except requesting the CEO and Chairperson regarding the appeal and immediately drafting our request letter to the Mumbai office.

He also suggested to do such appealing as much as possible on to the field in Mumbai as he believes the censor can be changed. He gave us examples like, the movie Aarakshan which the censor board had to change its view at the last minute.

While talking with him, it was clearly shown that there is also some kind of external pressure. He was a lot stressing in India-China relation and also clarified, The censor Board doesn't takes the ultimate decision by their own. They also have some advisory committee which might have conducted the suggestion of the censoring.

We argued him as well as the Censor board, not to go under any external pressure as for Indians, it might be an issue of free speech. But for the Tibetans, Its an issue of survival. If the board denies a U/A certificate just because of the Tibetan flag, What about Imtiaz Ali's next film??? which is intendedly based on the the Tibetan issue. Will the censor board just block the movie that time???
