His Holiness in Dharamshala on Losar Day.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama with monks from Namgyal Monastery and guests during traditional Tibetan New Year prayers held on the rooftop of the Main Tibetan Temple in Dharamsala, India, on February 22.

Last year i was in Lukla Nepal 2 days after Losar day, main halls of whole hotels were full of banners wishing happy losar, streets decorated too, people did not sleep since days ago, there were lots of Alpinists from all over the world who arrive for Losar and after make their trekkings, many of them old customers, some bringing gifts for hotel's owners.

That year i would like to arrive to Lukla at Losar Day, also am impatient to see losar's celebrations since I enter in United Nations platform.

Chinese snatched our LOSAR, actual Losar is a fasting and praying day, and no celebration for tibetan people. but Losar is also a cultural heritage for the rest of the world. never happened in the history a cancelation of new Tibetan year.

Today Comunist China robbed our celebration, not only to Tibetans, all the rest of the wold sympathizers are robbed too. Losar also belongs to the people of the world who love Tibet and Tibetans.
